An oral implant (also called an endosseous implant or fixture) is a prosthesis that interfaces with the bone of the jaw or head to support an oral prosthesis such as a crown, bridge, denture, or facial prosthesis or to act as an orthodontic anchor. The basis for contemporary dental implants is an organic procedure called osseointegration, in which materials such as titanium or zirconia form an intimate bond to the bone. The dental implant component is initial positioned to make sure that it is most likely to osseointegrate, then a dental prosthetic is included. A variable quantity of healing time is needed for osseointegration before either the oral prosthetic (a tooth, bridge, or denture) is connected to the implant or an abutment is put which will hold an oral prosthetic or crown. Success or failing of implants depends mainly on the thickness and health and wellness of the bone and gingival tissues that surround the implant, yet additionally on the health and wellness of the person receiving the therapy and medicines which influence the opportunities of osseointegration. The amount of anxiety that will certainly be put on the implant and fixture throughout normal feature is additionally reviewed. Planning the setting and number of implants is essential to the lasting health and wellness of the prosthetic since biomechanical forces created throughout chewing can be substantial. The placement of implants is figured out by the placement and angle of surrounding teeth, by laboratory simulations or by utilizing computed tomography with CAD/CAM simulations and surgical overviews called stents. The requirements for lasting success of osseointegrated dental implants are healthy and balanced bone and gingiva. Considering that both can degeneration after tooth removal, pre-prosthetic treatments such as sinus lifts or gingival grafts are sometimes called for to recreate optimal bone and gingiva. The last prosthetic can be either repaired, where an individual can not get rid of the denture or teeth from their mouth, or removable, where they can get rid of the prosthetic. In each instance a joint is attached to the implant fixture. Where the prosthetic is repaired, the crown, bridge or denture is taken care of to the joint either with lag screws or with oral cement. Where the prosthetic is removable, a matching adapter is positioned in the prosthetic to make sure that both pieces can be secured together. The dangers and issues connected to dental implant therapy divide into those that happen during surgical procedure (such as excessive bleeding or nerve injury, insufficient primary security), those that take place in the first six months (such as infection and failure to osseointegrate) and those that occur lasting (such as peri-implantitis and mechanical failings). In the presence of healthy and balanced tissues, a well-integrated implant with suitable biomechanical loads can have 5-year plus survival prices from 93 to 98 percent and 10-to-15-year life expectancies for the prosthetic teeth. Long-lasting research studies show a 16- to 20-year success (implants surviving without difficulties or revisions) in between 52% and 76%, with difficulties occurring up to 48% of the time.

Dr. Syrus Elicus did a fantastic job doing a composite on one of my teeth. I never liked the asymmetrical shape of it and always wanted it to be more square. He did it in like 15 minutes! Thank you so much Dr Syrus I am so happy with my result.

I loved my experience here. Every single member of their staff was excellent, kind, pleasant and knowledgable. There is an ease of the place, a peaceful one, not only in their energy but also in their holistic approach. It was my first time being treated with airflow and it was a wonderful experience. This provider gives me great confidence as my health is everything, we only have one body and as we are learning, oral care is a huge component of that. Thank you to all the staff at Dental Health and Wellness Newport.

The staff is thoughtful, kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. The dentists spend plenty of time explaining and showing what is happening in your mouth. It was wonderful to not feel like they were rushing just to move on to the next patient. I felt that my concerns and questions were worth answering and that what I had to say was valuable. I highly recommend Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness.

I have been a patient at Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness for about 4 years now. I am very thankful for this dental office. The staff is excellent! The office manager and other office staff, the assistants, hygenists, and dentists.... they are all excellent! I feel very comfortable and confident in knowing that this is a staff that is concerned about my oral health. I recently brought my oldest child here as well for a tooth extraction and the service and treatment that he received was excellent. I used to drive to Beverly Hills but today I went to the Newport Beach office and I am so thankful that the drive is closer for me now!!! You will be in good hands. The service and treatment is excellent!!!

Avoid Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness—overpriced, dishonest, and unprofessional. Rude & Incompetent Staff: The front desk, especially office manager Leeshane, is extremely rude, hangs up on patients, and lies about billing. I’ve spent months trying to fix an insurance issue due to their incorrect Tax ID, which caused multiple claim rejections. They claimed to resubmit my claim 10+ times, but Delta Dental only received two incorrect submissions. Hidden Costs & Deceptive Practices: Came in for an X-ray, but they performed a Cone Beam CT Scan without telling me the price or that it wasn’t a standard X-ray. They never explain what they’re doing or what it will cost until you get the bill. Mediocre Dental Work at Insane Prices: Extremely overpriced for average at best dental care. They focus on money, not patients. 🚨 This place is a scam. If you value your money and sanity, STAY AWAY!
